TOMMIE COPPER

In 2010 a man named Tommie, recovering from a waterskiing accident, had an idea to launch a company based around theraputic, copper-infused compression sleeves.  

He turned to us to help launch his brand with a series of digital spots and a half-hour direct-to-consumer program that was an instant success, delivering an MER of over 4.5!

Strand Creative Group has been the primary creative services agency ever since. We have worked with real people, celebrities and sports icons to build an enduring brand and support an incredible business. Our latest series of spots features Law & Order star, Christopher Meloni.

BEACHBODY

In 2013 when online, on-demand fitness was just starting to take off, BeachBody was still long on workout programs distributed on old-fashioned DVDs.  They turned to Strand Creative Group for help selling out their inventory but what they got instead was 5 of the most successful years in the history of their company.  

Our plan? To create a series of half-hour DRTV programs featuring the most relevant talent on TV like Mario Lopez, Maria Menunous, Tom Bergeron,  Deborah Norville and legacy superstars like Dick Van Dyke and Regis Philbin.  The results?

An unprecetended ROI that broke records in direct to consumer marketing.  In the DRTV genre you’re lucky if you have success with one out of five programs.  

We delivered seven straight mega hits that generated over 2 billion dollars of revenue in just a few years.

R.A.T.E.

In 2014 a smart,  scrappy adverstising agency that represents more than 250 real estate agents across the country convinced Shark Tank star, Barbara Corcoran to sign on to an endorsement deal.  

The problem? How do you produce authentic spots with Barbara and 250 local agents? They turned to us for help.  Ten plus years and literally thousands of spots later the disrutpive campaign is still going strong with new creative and new spots being produced multiple times every year.  

A model for creating a high-gloss, incredibly effective celebrity-driven campaign that’s affordable and accessible to agents in every market across Amercia and Canada.

WESTMORE BEAUTY

In 2017 a small cosmetics company came to us to help launch a new beauty brand centered around a transformative long-lasting body makeup that makes any skin look flawless. The campaign we created including long-form direct-to-consumer programs, broadcast spots and digital was so successful that the brand was aquired by beauty behemoth, Guthy Renker. We are proud that Guthy Renker contunues to trust us to create disruptive marketing campaigns across all channels in support of this now mainstream beauty brand.

TRISTAR PRODUCTS

In  2008 we began applying lessons learned in daytime television to direct to consumer campaigns for products created by Tristar Products.  It was a perfect match. We produced dozens of award-winning campaigns featuring celebrities like Emeril Lagasse, Jack Wagner and Montel Williams that delivered consistently high ROI and hundreds of millions in sales.  In 2019 we produced the first ever DRTV half hour reality show that took viewers behind the scenes of the making of a conventional half hour being produced by Tristar’s in-house team.  The reality show version was meant to help extend the life of the primary show but instead it delivered an MER of over 3.5, more than 25% higher than the primary show!
